Your involvement with a great bushwalking community starts here.

For more than 35 years Koonung Bushwalking club members have enjoyed the natural environment, stayed fit and healthy and belonged to a friendly community. Walking in the Australian bush provides experiences and adventures in places that may be off the beaten track. Most importantly, we have trained leaders to organise and conduct an enjoyable walk.

We share a vision with other bushwalking clubs to ensure Victoria is a diverse, secure and healthy natural environment to be cared for and appreciated by all.

We recognise that our community has a growing and diverse population. We are known as the friendly club and everyone is made welcome.  We recognise that walking, particularly in the outdoors enhances wellbeing and good health.

Membership of a club is a good way of meeting others who share similar interests.  The club has been a great source of friendships for those wanting to explore outdoor activities with like-minded people.

Our members are a friendly and easy going group of people of varying ages, fitness levels and abilities who love bushwalking and socialising.  Our club walks and activities aim to cater for this diversity of membership.
