Beautiful ferny walk along the Stringybark, Coranderrk and Aqueduct Tracks to Badger Weir

Distance:9 km Easy-Medium S 2-3.   Enjoy a pretty undulating walk through ferny gullies and old Mountain Ash forest with abundant bird life in the Yarra Ranges National Park. We walk gradually uphill to the picnic area for morning tea, then walk several loops along Stringybark, Coranderrk, and the Aqueduct Track to Badger Weir. We loop back along Lyrebird Track crossing Badger Creek, then Slip Track for lunch in the picnic area. Beautiful bird life with plenty of rosellas, kookaburras and more, also the chance of sighting lyrebirds. Meet at 9.30 to begin walking at 9.45am
