Small section of street walking, then a stroll along the Maribyrnong River.

Distance: 9 km Easy S 3-3. A part of the Mariyrnong River not usually visited by us East-siders. First 1½km is on urban streets, and the rest of the walk is on an access track alongside the river. This track was cut up from flooding during 2022, poles might be recommended. One steepish hill (maybe 150m in length) at end of walk to get back to our cars. Bring lunch. This walk will have a later start and finish early enough to avoid traffic. Bring lunch.
