Koonung Bushwalking Club has Combined General Liability Insurance in conjunction with Bushwalking Victoria, and arranged by Bushwalking Australia. See details on following address. http://www.bushwalkingaustralia.org/insurance/claims-and-enquiries
An Incident Report form will be completed for all Critical Incidents and Serious Injuries.
In the case of a Serious Injury the form will be signed by both Leader and the Injured person, and each will keep a copy.
A copy of the report will also be provided to Bushwalking Victoria.
In the event of a claim being made this report will be provided to the Insurer, with the claim form.
Koonung Bushwalking Club acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we walk, work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.

Koonung Bushwalking Club supports Parks Vic initiative for Joint Management of Parks
Parks Victoria has had an Indigenous Person on the Board since 2015. Parks Victoria and Traditional Owners now share Joint Management of Parks in Victoria.
This is the new normal for Victoria.
